Excited to offer this virtually through the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia! Only 12 spots so we can be up close and interactive!
Writing groups can encourage you, promote you, and really improve your craft—if they’re done well.
Join this intimate, interactive, and inclusive three-session professional development series to learn best practices around creating or joining an in-person or virtual group, managing interpersonal dynamics, and providing and taking in feedback. You’ll sample potential approaches for groups, see demos of useful digital tools, and maybe even meet future writing group members! This series is geared toward very new writers and for more established writers who are looking to create safer spaces in existing groups—or who are ready to try writing groups again after a pause.
