It’s been so hard keeping this a secret!!
I’m honoured and excited to share that Freddie the Flyer has been shortlisted for next year’s Hackmatack Award in the English non-fiction category. It’s amazing that kids in Atlantic Canada from grades 4, 5 and 6 will have the chance to read all these shortlisted books over the next year through schools and reading clubs. And then they get to select the winners!
