It’s been so hard to sit on this amazing news, but Freddie the Flyer is part of Dolly Parton’s 2024 Imagination Library for Canada!!! EEEEK!
When I first got the news while cooking dinner for the family a couple of months ago, I squealed loudly and immediately teared up. I still feel like this today. Just completely honoured and overwhelmed at the idea that Freddie the Flyer will be mailed out to five-year-olds across the country for FREE.
I have been a super-fan of this program since I first learned about it. What’s not to love? Inspired by her father’s struggles with literacy, Dolly Parton created a foundation that’s given away more than 200 million books worldwide to kids from birth to 5 years old.
